Series VIII: General Administrative Files
Scope and Contents
Series VIII, General Administrative Files, is comprised of administrative files related to committees and institutions outside of the Clark. The records include memos, meeting minutes, Association of Art Museum Curators and Association of Art Museum Directors meeting reports and schedules, attendance surveys for similar museums, memos and reports from prominent visitors, interview information, general reports, articles, and essays on various topics. Other records compiled in this series include details on conversations with the French embassy, ‘Gift Of” labels, and a collection of handwritten cards and notes from various sources including members, general patrons, and friends of Conforti and others at The Clark.

Conditions Governing Access
This collection is open to research with some exceptions. Finance, personnel, and exhibition loan records are permanently closed to research. More granular restrictions can be found in the Scope and Contents notes for each respective series.
