Scope and Contents note
The Architects' Collaborative file contains records of the earliest construction on the Clark's new wing that began in 1969. Additionally, press releases about the new wing and some correspondence between Hamilton and members of The Architects' Collaborative are filed under Correspondence re: New Wing. In 1969 and subsequent years, loan requests are filed by the individual request rather than grouped together under a single Loan requests heading as is the case in previous series. Press releases, inventories, and correspondence about a gift of French furniture to the museum from Mary Hayward Weir are filed under Andrew D. Heineman-Estate of Mary Hayward Weir.
