Scope and Contents note

From the Sub-Series:

On February 1, 2001 the United States Postal Service issued a pane of commemorative stamps that included an image from the collection of the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute. In honor of the stamp's issue, the Clark put the rarely seen drawing, Br'er Rabbit, by American illustrator Arthur Burdett Frost, on display with a selection of other drawings from the collection.
